The brackets of this new model are red anodized, made of aluminium 7075, with holes. The brackets have a higher tensile strength than ordinary brackets and a are about 25 gram lighter per pair.

The Gold 2005 boots have a calf’s leather lining instead of split croupon. The kangaroo leather shoes have a thermoplastic foam padding; one pair is about 120 gram lighter than one pair of the Gold 2000 boots.
