Viking is known worldwide for its services and the high quality skates that we make for the international and professional skating sport. In the 1990s we were the first to start making custom shoes in skating. Since then we have helped countless athletes with custom skates specially tailored to their needs.
For several years now, it has also been possible for semi-professionals to have custom-made high-quality skating shoes fitted at Viking, tailored to the individual needs of the skater himself.
Custom Made skate shoes are the ultimate Viking product for the very advanced skater. During a 'fitting' appointment at Viking, we take you through all the options and map out your needs. Everything is possible, 100% rigid or with just the right amount of torsion, extra narrow or wide, with a cut-resistant sock or buckle and in any color or model. Viking makes your skates entirely according to your wishes!
The Custom Superlight has been specially developed for competition skating and due to the use of different and specific materials, this model is slightly lighter than the standard Custom made shoe. Just like the standard custom made, the SL shoes can be completely composed by the skater himself, from the stiffness to the color and design!
HOW IT WORKS
Contact the renowned Viking specialist in your area. Your Viking dealer will give you more information and put you in touch with Viking for an appointment at the Viking skate factory or nearest location.
Make an appointment
Together with Viking's custom-made specialists, you determine what is right for your technique and style. This is done during a fitting appointment with a Viking custom made specialist. During this 'boot fitting' appointment, the properties of the new shoes are tailored to your wishes together with you, after which Viking starts the production of the shoes. The colors and printing are entirely up to you to decide, within the capabilities of the design team.
o Duration of intake and adjustment; about two hours
o Your Viking sales location will inform you when the skates are ready for you.
o adjusting and checkout is done in the store at your viking point of sale
o The delivery time is approximately 10 weeks. Barring unforeseen circumstances & production location summer closure
